An exquisite Art Nouveau era pocket watch featuring a woman warrior, most likely Athena.  Her helmet and armor is engraved in gold with an intricate attention to detail. The hand-done enameled painting of her face has an ethereal quality to it, a striking contrast that is both bold and delicate.  Modeled in solid 18K gold, the pocket watch weighs a substantial 29.1 grams and the case measures 0.8” wide.  The watch mechanism is not functional but this work of art can easily be worn as a pendant.

Condition: In good antique condition with some wear to the enamel and gold case as shown in the photos.  No major chips but there are some scratches.  The watch mechanism is not currently functional.
